Meet your teacher

Alison started yoga in 2012 unaware of just how much impact it would have on her life. She found the benefits enormous on a physical, mental and emotional level.
In 2021 she completed her 200 hours Vinyasa yoga teacher training. She has subsequently completed a further 100 hours of Yin yoga training and a further 50 hours incorporating strength training into her classes.
Each class differs so that you work different parts of the body, improving flexibility, building strength and endurance, reducing stress and enhancing mental clarity.
Whether you are new to yoga or have practiced before, she looks forward to welcoming you on the mat to empower you on your journey towards personal growth and well being.

My teaching philosophy and style

At Amor Yoga, my classes are thoughtfully designed to provide a comprehensive and engaging experience. I believe in a well-rounded approach to fitness, constantly introducing new techniques, movements, and perspectives to keep your mind engaged and your body challenged. A key aspect of my philosophy is integrating strength training into our practice. This not only enhances longevity and stabilizes joints but also builds functional, lean muscle, preparing you for more advanced poses and a healthier life.

Who can benefit from Amor Yoga?

My classes are ideal for anyone eager to fully immerse themselves in a practice aimed at increasing flexibility, building stamina, and cultivating strength. If you are looking to quieten your mind, learn effective breathing techniques, and experience holistic well-being, you'll find a welcoming space here. I aim for my students to experience a profound transformation, leaving each session feeling more balanced, centered, and empowered.

"Amor Yoga has transformed my practice! I've gained so much flexibility and strength, and the calm I feel after each class is truly wonderful."

A delighted student
